Every single e-mail is composed of the following parts, that can be modified individually. They are, in order:
FROM FIELD, SUBJECT LINE, HEADLINE, FIRST PARAGRAPH, BODY TEXT, SIDEBAR,
RESOURCE BOX/CALL TO ACTION.
This approach allows us to craft every part of the e-mail in a way that is most compelling, and most effective for your target audience. No stone is left unturned.
SUBJECT LINE: has to be provocative, tickling, mind blowing, secret, luring, create desire, educate, create a sense of urgency, etc. Create incredible promisse, and then deliver on it in the first paragraph.
HEADLINE:strongly connected to the subject line and the first paragraph, must display the main idea instantly and clearly, but leave enough to the imagination.
BODY TEXT: short sentences, pithy and to the point, written in a reverse pyramide modality (main ideas outfront). Links that call to action can be embedded in between the paragraphs, to catch the reader in every stage he feels he`s ready to act.
SIDEBAR: Testimonials or some interesting facts.
RESOURCE BOX: Divided clearly from the body of the e-mail. Well written resource box makes all the difference in the world. This is the final place, where you have to capture your reader, and make him act upon your command. This is the end of the road.
